Do you have an idea that can transform pain practice, patient care, clinic systems, education, technology, or access to pain management?
ICRA-PAIN 2026 invites doctors, pain physicians, anesthesiologists, fellows, researchers, entrepreneurs, innovators, and healthcare teams to participate in the ICRA-PAIN Shark Tank 2026 — a unique innovation pitch platform dedicated to the speciality of pain medicine.
This is not only a presentation competition. It is a platform to identify practical, scalable, and impactful ideas that can improve pain care in India and beyond.
Conference: ICRA-PAIN 2026
Full Name: 10th International Conference on Recent Advances in Pain
Dates: 4–6 September 2026
Venue: Vedic Village Spa Resort, Kolkata, India
Format: Live innovation pitch during ICRA-PAIN 2026
Pitch Length: Just 5 slides
Focus: Sustainable models and innovations in pain management
Pain medicine is growing rapidly, but many real-world problems remain unsolved:
Patients still struggle with delayed diagnosis, poor access, high treatment costs, fragmented care, lack of awareness, and limited availability of trained pain physicians. Clinics and hospitals face challenges in patient flow, documentation, technology adoption, outcome tracking, affordability, and scalability.
The ICRA-PAIN Shark Tank is designed to bring forward ideas that can solve these problems.
Your idea may be a clinical model, business model, software solution, app, device, training model, patient care pathway, public health project, pain clinic model, or innovative service delivery system.
Participation is open to:
Individual and team submissions are both welcome.
You may submit ideas related to:
New protocols, treatment pathways, screening systems, patient selection methods, outcome tracking models, or integrated care pathways.
Affordable pain clinic models, rural pain care models, hub-and-spoke systems, specialty clinic systems, or high-volume sustainable practice models.
Apps, AI tools, telemedicine models, patient education platforms, electronic documentation systems, clinical decision support tools, or remote monitoring systems.
Simulation tools, online learning models, fellowship training systems, procedure training models, or assessment platforms for pain physicians.
Revenue models, clinic workflow systems, patient retention models, subscription systems, insurance-linked models, or scalable pain care businesses.
Ideas that improve access, affordability, awareness, early diagnosis, and quality of care for underserved populations.
Your idea should answer one central question:
Can this innovation improve pain care in a way that is practical, sustainable, scalable, and beneficial to patients, doctors, hospitals, or society?
Participants must present their idea in a concise 5-slide pitch format.
What problem are you solving?
Who is affected — patients, doctors, clinics, hospitals, payers, or society?
Why does this problem need urgent attention?
What is your idea?
Is it a clinical model, app, software, device, protocol, business model, training model, or pain clinic model?
How is it different from existing solutions?
How will your idea improve outcomes, access, affordability, efficiency, patient experience, or quality of care?
What is the unique value of your idea?
Can it be implemented in real-world practice?
What infrastructure, skills, training, or support are needed?
Can it be expanded to multiple centers, cities, or countries?
What is your execution plan?
What support do you need — funding, mentorship, clinical validation, technology support, institutional backing, or research collaboration?
What can this idea become in the next 3–5 years?
The full pitch deck preparation guide may include problem statement, current gaps, solution, value proposition, feasibility, market demand, scalability, business model, social impact, SWOT analysis, implementation roadmap, financial projections, risk mitigation, and future vision.
The best 3 presentations at the ICRA-PAIN Shark Tank workshop will be selected for further support.
Selected ideas will receive:
Final support will depend on the quality, feasibility, ethical suitability, sustainability, and implementation potential of the selected ideas.
Participants must be registered delegates of ICRA-PAIN 2026.
Submit a short concept note containing:
Shortlisted participants will be invited to prepare and present a 5-slide pitch during the ICRA-PAIN Shark Tank session.
Each selected participant or team will present before an expert panel during ICRA-PAIN 2026.
The panel will select the top 3 ideas for further mentorship, financial support, and institutional support.
A strong pitch should be clear, practical, and focused. Avoid making it too theoretical.
Choose a problem you have personally observed in pain practice. The stronger the problem, the stronger the pitch.
Examples:
Explain what exists now and why it is inadequate. Show the gap clearly.
Your solution should be easy to understand in one sentence.
Example:
“Our idea is a low-cost digital follow-up and outcome tracking system for pain clinics.”
Clearly mention whether your idea benefits:
Judges will look for ideas that can actually be implemented. Mention the infrastructure, team, cost, training, and timeline required.
A strong idea should not be limited to one person or one clinic. Explain whether it can be replicated in other centers, cities, or countries.
Even social-impact models need sustainability. Explain how the model will continue to function.
Possible revenue or sustainability models may include consultation, procedures, subscriptions, training, technology licensing, institutional partnerships, or sponsored public health models.
Every idea has risks. Mention barriers and your plan to overcome them.
Tell the panel exactly what you need:
Ideas will be evaluated based on:
Problem: What is the pain point?
Solution: What is your innovation?
Impact: Why does it matter?
Feasibility: Can it work in real-world practice?
Roadmap: What support do you need to make it happen?
ICRA-PAIN Shark Tank 2026 is your opportunity to move beyond discussion and bring your idea into action.
If you have an idea that can improve pain care, make pain practice more efficient, expand access, reduce cost, train more physicians, or create a sustainable model for the future — this is your platform.
